You are cordially
invited to the International Conference "Electronic Structure:
Principles and Applications" that will be held at the
University of Sevilla from 11th to 13th September, 2002.
This conference intends to bring together scientists from within the field of
Theoretical and Computational Chemistry and related fields in Chemical Physics,
Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, and Biochemistry.
This conference aims to follow in the footsteps of the two previous meetings
("Workshop on Computational Chemistry" at Madrid (1998) and "Electronic
Structure: Prediction and Applications" at San Sebastian (2000)).
They were a stimulating forum for the interaction among groups of the Spanish
theoretical community, and for the scientific exchange of this community with
well-known foreign scientists in the field. This success compels us to organize
ESPA2002 in the hope of consolidating these fruitful scientific activities
and to open it to the international community.
The official language will be english.
WHERE:
The
Faculty of Chemistry of the Universidad de Sevilla (c/Profesor García González,
s/n street, 41012-Sevilla, Spain) located at the Reina Mercedes Campus in a well
communicated area from the center of town. The Conference hall will be the "Aula
Magna" of the "red building" (Edificio rojo) placed just in front of the
Faculty of Chemistry.
